Kansas storyteller Rosie Cutrer loves to tell stories. With a degree in theater & 23 years as a teacher Rosie knows how to entertain & educate. Programs range from preschool to adult. For the younger ones she brings along her puppet Bearly & uses plenty of music & audience participation. For older audiences she tells folktales from around the world, literary stories,personal stories of growing up in the 1950’s & plays clawhammer banjo in between.

Programs included are:

BOOKS ALIVE!-Rosie will tell folktales and donate a book, based on one of the stories, to your library.

ANIMAL TALES-Animal stories & songs.

FOLKTALES FROM THE PIONEERS-Stories & music form the 18th & 19th centuries.

SOMETHING GHOSTLY THIS WAY COMES-Scary stories & songs.

TIRRA LIRRRA-Irish folktales & music.

KINGS, QUEENS & LONG NOSED THINGS-Fairytales & music.

JIGGLE, GIGGLE, JUMP!-Preschool through kindergarten stories & music.

FOR GROWNUPS ONLY-Folktales, ballads, songs, stories from literature, personal stories or ghost stories.

STORYTELLER’S CHOICE-Let Rosie pick her favorite stories.

STORYTELLING WORKSHOPS

COSTUMED PIONEER PROGRAMS-Artifacts & period banjos included.
