Mark is a native of Danville, Kentucky and currently resides in the Phoenix metro area. His work with Boys & Girls Club, Storytelling Institute at So. Mt. Community College and as a docent at the State Capitol Building Museum have made him a favorite for local storytelling events. As a storyteller he has participated in the Mesa Storytelling Festival, Flagstaff Folk Festival, Celtic Heritage Festival in Sedona, South Mountain Community College Storytelling Festival and at numerous community based venues.
