Lawrence Howard is originally from New York and has been a storyteller since he began to learn and recite the Yukon ballads of Robert W. Service at the age of 10. He performs solo with Portland Story Theater and in tandem with Lynne Duddy as Story Harmonics. Lawrence has a deep love of Yiddish folktales, Americana, and epic narrative, and is developing a special program about the tragic Antarctic voyage of Ernest Shackleton and The Endurance.
