Ken .. is .. "Caribbean Voices" .. at www.kcorsbie.com... is the authentic and complete Caribbean Storyteller, stand-up comic, poetry performer, workshop leader - teller of folk tales and personal stories.
He brings the sound, the sun and the sea; he brings the rivers of the rain forest; he brings the rhymes and rhythms; he brings the voices and variety of the islands.

Ken claims that his father is half Chinese, half African, half Welch and half South American Amerindian. His mother’s parents were Scottish and creole Tobagonian (island of Tobago).

Born in Guyana, he has worked in the theatre, radio, television, newspaper, and performed throughout the Caribbean island chain - from Guyana in the South to Belize in the North.

His four CD’s represent the variety and multicultural aspects of his programs and repertoire.THIS MANGO SWEEEET is personal stories of living in the Caribbean and America; WALLS OF JERICHO is the best of his standup comedy routines; MONKEY LIVER SOUP has island folk and literary tales; MARC UP is his unique interpretations of oral/aural poetry of the Caribbean.

His workshops explore audience participation, finding your own voice, and Caribbean storytelling.
His video series CARIBBEAN EYE examines 13 aspects of island arts and cultures.

Since coming 12 years ago to live with his wife, Elizabeth, in America, Ken has told at festivals including Boston, New London(CT), Toronto, Ottawa, Midland (TX), Clearwater Revival on the Hudson. He also has told in schools, universities, libraries and cafes.
