Amphitheater with Judith

Directory Member Since:

2001

Performing since 1968, Judith is an accomplished storyteller and musician. Her specialty is performing in character as Mother Goose weaving the well-known rhymes into longer stories in English and/or Spanish, . Her bilingual programs are especially helpful for Spanish speaking children who are learning English. In addition to Mother Goose, Judith also tells stories of all kinds including historical tales, fairy tales, folk tales, personal stories, and true stories. One popular program is a story based on the life of her great grandmother, an early woman doctor.

Two Mother Goose CD’s are available: "Tales from Mother Goose Land," delighting young and old with Judith’s original stories, and "Cuentos de la Mama Gansa/Mother Goose Stories" in Spanish and English. The bilingual CD is designed to assist students of either Spanish or English in their language study. Judith is open to traveling throughout the United States and Latin America for tours in schools and libraries. She also offers workshops for all ages. Fees are negotiable; please call or e-mail Judith for current prices and available times.
