Gil is a storyteller. His niche is Native American folklore and stories of the Southwest. He belongs to Tellers-of-Tales. The Arizona Daily Star wrote about Gil stating, "...a gentle rumbling basso voice to bring a few minutes of rapt silence...". Gil often travels with a six-foot ornamented story stick, has a workbook (A Practical Guide to Storytelling) and two CDs (Now You Will Know My Words Are True)(Story Shaman). Gil does numerous programs to include; workshops, featured events, story times & group presentations.
