For over 17 years, Gwen has enjoyed sharing stories with groups of all ages at schools, churches, libraries, bookstores, conferences, festivals, and retreats throughout the Southwest. She is a touring artist for Texas Commission on the Arts. "Our campus is still abuzz about your wonderful presentation. I have already told other librarians in our district about your fabulous program.”
Donna Maples, Librarian Often using music and audience participation, she enlivens stories from all around the world as well as original tales and personal stories. Most recently, she has created a series of programs for adults featuring stories for the second half of life. She has taught in both public and private schools as well as an inner-city literacy program. These experiences have prepared her to create and teach meaningful storytelling workshops to a variety of groups.
Fifteen years ago Gwen founded the Richardson/Plano Storytelling Guild. She is also a member of Texas Storytelling Association.
