Welcome to the “Telling for the Story” Intensive!

If you are just starting out in storytelling or are already a Pro, we’ll start where you are at in your skills and help you polish and present your Sacred stories. You’re in for a focused, professional workshop experience where you will listen, tell, contribute and be coached. You will use the power of video recording for immediate feed back to improve your skills.

The environment is friendly and the dress code is casual, with participants from a variety of denominations. Our group is small to assure you that you get the attention you and your fellow participants deserve. You will be working with our staff member who has national level experience in both secular and sacred telling.

Maybe you’ve attended workshops before where it’s more vacation than learning? Not at this "Telling for the Story" professional workshop. We’ll have a great time, but be sure "you’ve done your homework" before our time together. Don’t blame the dog for eating your homework, unless of course that’s your newest story!

No matter if you are telling for a congregation of thousands, a classroom of 25 or small faith community of 5, you will gain new skills, new insights and new friends to support your ministry.

We hope you can join us at one of our "Telling for the Story" events or book a workshop for your community.

"Yes, do this. It makes you see what can be done with (and) where you can take this kind of story." -Elly, Glendale

Who should attend: Teachers, pastors, educators, parents, youth workers, volunteers, paid staff, beginners, pros, explorers, artists! Anyone (adults or teens) with a love of Scriptures and the Power of the Arts! You!
