Come to Storyteller.net@Borders: a new event of storytelling for adults and teens! With storytellers and spoken word artists from around the state of Arizona (and sometimes the rest of the world), you are going to get an hour of some of the best world tales and mature personal stories, stories that are told and not read. Stop by on your way to wherever you are going. No charge.

Next on May 20, 2006:

Sean Buvala, Director of Storyteller.net. Sean describes the collection of stories in his head as life and legend" representing the mix of stories from his experiences, myth and legend from many cultures, sacred stories and observations of shared life events with those whom he has had honor of knowing in the past and present. He describes his style as somewhere between "in your life and in your face" depending on the needs of the group hes telling to/with at any given gathering.

Bonnie Angster has been telling and teaching for at least a decade. She specializes in telling stories for an older generation. She talks about the history passion and compassion in well crafted, nostalgic stories. In July, Bonnie will be the receiving the ORACLE award from the National Storytelling Network for her dedication and service to storytelling in the Western Region.

Kindra Gayle. Kindra has 14 years of telling experience in 25 years of living. She tells great personal tales of being twenty-something in this world as well as great world myths and legends. She’s on the board of the National Storytelling Network and she makes crock-pot creations that are one of a kind.
