Northlands Storytelling Network Call for 2004 Spring Conference Presenters Madison, Wisconsin April 23-25, 2004Pre-Conference Intensives Friday, April 23
Intensive 6-hour or 3-hour formats, ranging from beginner to advanced, for storyteller and/or non-storyteller participants.
$250 honorarium for each 6 hour workshop, $125 honorarium for each 3 hour workshop, and your conference fee is waived. Even if more than one individual is presenting, the compensation is limited to this amount.
Pre-Conference presenters may not present in consecutive years.
Conference Workshops Saturday, April 24
90 minute sessions, ranging from beginner to advanced, for storytellers and/or non-storyteller participants.
Formats: workshops, story swaps, showcases of performance/dialogue, and critique and coaching sessions
There is a $50 honorarium for each workshop, and your conference fee is waived. Even if more than one individual is presenting, the compensation is limited to this amount.
Guidelines
1. You do not have to be a Northlands members to present.
2. You may submit more than one proposal.
3. Length of time of workshop must be indicated on the proposal. If submitting the same workshop in two different lengths, you must submit them separately.
4. The Description of your workshop is what you would expect to have published in the program/brochure. Must be 30-75 words.
5. Proposal length cannot be longer than 2 pages.
6. Do not include supplemental materials. If you have handouts, note this in the Method section.
