Here are the Windows Media streaming sound files from interviews at the National Storytelling NetworK's 2005 Annual Conference held in Oklahoma City, OK.
The NSN and Storyteller.net are not affiliated. Any questions about the NSN should be directed to their offices.
Sean also did several pre-conference interviews. You can hear those when you click here now.
And in a moment of goofy-ness, Sean has posted a few photos from the week on his personal site here.
On this page:
Part One: An interview with Debbie and Jim "Two Crows" Wallen right after Jim’s workshop on Thursday. You can hear the interview in WindowsMedia when you click here now.
Part Two: An audio update is with storyteller Priscilla Howe who share her thoughts about her experiences at the conference....so far. So far was up to Friday afternoon.
Part Three: This update is with Patti Christensen and James Nelson-Lucas who talk about the experience of the touring the "Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum". The museum is designed to remember the Murrah Federal Building Bombing of April 19, 2005. They reflect on the museum and tour through the eyes of experienced storytellers. This interview focuses on the experience through the eyes and "filter" of storytellers.
Part Four: Dianne de Las Casas and Sean talk about her marketing workshop. In the middle we are joined by a first time conference attendee, Gene. Then, we go back to Diane. It’s a buffet of interviewing.
Part Five: Sean talks with storyteller Judith Wynhausen who shares her reflections on high points and insights from the conference.
Part Six: The last audio interview from the National Storytelling Network’s Conference was with Fran Stallings, one of the (many) conference organizers. Thanks for being with us.
